In four short weeks, Chelsea College of Arts showcases the results of a year’s hard work from students who are completing one of five post-graduate courses: MA Fine Art, MA Graphic Design Communication, MA Interior & Spatial Design, MA Textile Design, and MA Curating & Collections. Open to the public from 5 through 10 September 2015.
A sneak preview of MA Fine Art
There’s a palpable energy in the MA Fine Art studios at Chelsea College of Arts, London, as just over 100 artists prepare work for Chelsea’s post-graduate Summer Show, opening 5 September 2015.
In the MA Fine Art galleries, viewers can expect to see broad sample of contemporary art; new media and performative works forge a strong presence, and sit well with the more usual art practices – painting, drawing, print-making and the like.
MA Fine Art is not the only group at Chelsea quickly approaching the end of their year; there are four other shows at the same time with MA Graphic Design Communication, MA Interior and Spatial Design, MA Textile Design, and MA Curating and Collections.
Across the campus, there are sure to be more than a few surprises, even in what might be considered “traditional” making, so anticipate this showcase to be anything but hum-drum. I really don’t want to say more so you can see for yourself, except to stress,
You’ll be missing out if you miss this show!
