Fresher’s Festival kicks off with a showcase of UAL talent called ‘Hype’ at Chelsea College of Art and Design from 23 – 27 September 2013.  The student-led exhibition includes installation, sculpture, performance, painting, drawing, printmaking, theatre and new media. About 60 students, alumni , staff and tutors all from the six colleges in UAL will present recent work in this public show.

A few highlights from Hype – photos

HYPE was created to foster collaboration and dialogue between people across UAL.  The work included in the show demonstrates a wide range of art practice throughout the university; here is a sample of the work on display from a few snapshots captured during set-up:
